Timothy Omundson is an American Actor who was born on 29 July 1969, and is perhaps best known for his roles as Sean Potter in the television series “Judging Amy” and as King Richard in the musical series “Galavant”
So just how rich is Timothy Omundson? Sources estimate that Omundson’s net worth is over $1.5 million dollars, his wealth having been earned largely from his career as an actor during a career now spanning nearly 25 years.
Timothy Omundson was born in St. Joseph, Missouri USA – his father was a railroad worker and his mother a school teacher. At the age of 12, Omundson started to study theater at Seattle Children’s Theater in Bellevue, Washington after his family moved from St. Joseph. When Omundson was 13, with his father he spent a month traveling in Germany and Austria, ‘…one of the most formative months of his life…’ he later declared.
Timothy graduated from Interlake High School in 1987. During his high school he interned to several theaters, and then Timothy joined the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, where he started studying during the summer and giving acting his full time focus. For two years in a row, he was Washington State Debate Champion in Dramatic Interpretation. Omundson subsequently graduated from University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater in 1991.
Omundson’s first role was in the television series “Seinfeld” in 1992, followed by two television series in 1993, “Sea Quest DSV” and “Married with Children”, then in “Diagnosis: Murder” as Benjamin Strand, and “The George Carlin Show” as Bearded and “Days of Our Lives” as T.J. in 1994. These was a solid start to his net worth.
Two series followed in 1995, in “Medicine Ball” as Dr. Patrick Yates and “Strange Luck” as Steve Medavoy. In 1996, Timothy appeared in “Mr. & Mr. Smith” as Carig Thompson, and in his first film “Dead of Night” as a club manager. He subsequently continued in high demand, successively in 1997, in “Dark Skies” as Jerry Rubin, “Relativity” as Therapist, “Jenny” as Griffin and “The Disappearance of Kevin Johnson” as Nick Ferretti. In the following year the same workload – in “Frasier” as the Director, “Legacy” as Lloyd Cobb, and then. “Jack & Jill” as Travis Cutler in 1999. In 2000, he appeared in “Xena: Warrior Princess” as Eli, “V.I.P” as Chick Mars and the film: “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” as Silvio.
Demand for his services has continued consistently over the years, such that overall during his career to date, Timothy has been involved in nearly 20 films, and almost 50 TV productions. Apart form the aforementioned, his recent roles have been the most significant, including playing Cain in the TV series “Supernatural”, in 2014-15. In 2015 he was also used to voice-over characters in “Robot Chicken”, an animated production which won four Emmy Awards.
In his personal life, Timothy Omundson is married to Allison and they have two children, and now live in Los Angeles, California.
