Tamara Taylor, born on 27 September 1970, is a Canadian actress who has become famous for her role as Dr. Camille Saroyan in the television show “Bones”, which began airing in 2006.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Taylor is of mixed race – African Canadian from her father’s side and Scottish Canadian on her mother’s side. With her dreams of becoming a model, she decided to quit high school and focused on her career.
During Taylor’s early years in the industry, she was able to book various commercial gigs, and so took a long time before breaking out in either film or television.
