Sarah Silverman Wiki Biography
Sarah Kate Silverman was born on 1 December 1970, in Bedford, New Hampshire USA, into a Jewish family although she is irreligious. Sarah is a comedian, actress and a writer, perhaps best known for appearing in such shows and movies as “The Sarah Silverman Program”, “Saturday Night Live”, “School of Rock”, “A Million Ways to Die in the West” among others. During her career Sarah has been nominated for and has won numerous awards. For example, Primetime Emmy Award, American Comedy Award, GLAAD Media Award, and Grammy Award. What is more, Sarah is also known as a producer and is involved in other activities.
If you consider how rich Sarah Silverman is, it can be said that Sarah’s net worth is $10 million. The main source of this sum of money is Sarah’s career as a comedian and also her appearances in various television shows and movies. Of course, her other activities such as writing and producing have also had a significant impact on the growth of Sarah’s wealth.
Sarah studied at The Derryfield School and later continued her studies at New York University but didn’t graduate. When she was 17 years old she started performing stand-up comedy, but, according to her, her first performances were not that great. In 1993 Sarah began working on the show called “Saturday Night Live” and this was the time when Sarah’s net worth began growing. In 1995 she started working on another well-known show, “Mr. Show” and two years later Sarah acted in the movie entitled “Who’s the Caboose?”. Later she received more invitations to act in various shows and movies, including “Seinfeld”, “V.I.P.”, There’s Something about Mary”, and “Overnight Delivery”. All these appearances added a lot to Silverman’s net worth.
In 2007 Sarah had her own show, called “The Sarah Silverman Program”, which aired for three years. During the making of this show Sarah worked with Brian Posehn, Jay Johnston, Steve Agee and others. As this show became really popular, it had a huge impact on the growth of Sarah’s net worth. In 2010 Sarah wrote the book called “the Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee”, which also gained great attention.
In 2011 Silverman played one of the roles in the movie called “Take This Waltz”, in which she had an opportunity to work with such actors as Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Luke Kirby and others. Recently Sarah has been working on such movies and shows as “I Smile Back”, “Ashby”, “Man Seeking Woman”, “Master of Sex” and others. What is more, Sarah has worked on such video games as “Disney Infinity”, “Wreck-it Ralph” and “Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes”. These also made Silverman’s net worth grow.
If to talk about Sarah’s personal life, it can be said that in 2002 she started dating Jimmy Kimmel. Sadly they split and in 2010 Sarah had a relationship with Alec Sulkin, which soon ended. In 2011 Sarah started dating Kyle Dunnigan, but since 2014 she has been dating Michael Sheen. All in all, Sarah Silverman is an interesting and quite controversial personality. Despite this fact, she already has achieved a lot and has many talents. Although some people might criticize some of her decisions she still has a lot of fans who support her and her activities.

Sarah Silverman Trademarks
- Black hair
- Misleading sarcasm
Sarah Silverman Quotes
- I’ve turned down things that, I just go “I’d rather do stand-up than say this shitty exposition for bad writing.” It’s just not fun, like “but you’re a lawyer and he loves you!” Good writing doesn’t need some Greek chorus in the form of a sassy friend.
- I like my life alone. I mean, I love being with friends and I love kissing and loving someone to pieces. But it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t ultimately start judging you and your choices. Men like to squash you. I just want someone who’s happy with himself, happy with his life. He doesn’t have to squash mine.
- I’d have to be honest: I have contempt for pretty much every drug other than pot. I find drunk people gross. Most people with more than one drink in them aren’t giggly, goofy and happy the way people are with a puff of pot smoke in them. . . . At a party, I have so much fun stoned, flitting about — but once I sniff that first wave of drunkenness on someone, I’m out of there.
- Was that incredible? Britney Spears. Wow. She is amazing. She is 25 years old and she’s already accomplished everything she’s going to accomplish in her life. It’s mind-blowing.
- Some people say my humor focuses too much on stereotypes. It doesn’t. It focuses on facts.
- [on the US-Iraq war of 2003:] “This is not the first time that Europe has been passive while a Jew-hating tyrant with a weird looking mustache killed the people by giving them gas. [Pause.] Obviously I’m talking about Chef Boyardee.”
- People are always introducing me as “Sarah Silverman, Jewish comedienne.” I HATE that! I wish people would see me for who I really am — I’m white!
