Ron Ben-Israel was born in 1957 in Israel, into a family of Jewish ancestry. He is best known as a pastry chef, and the owner of ‘’Ron Ben-Israel Cakes’’ in New York City.

Ron grew up in Tel Aviv, and reportedly loved baking and cooking from an early age. He went on to attend Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, and specialized in the field of dancing.
