Rodel Pacheco Nacianceno Wiki Biography

Rodel Pacheco Nacianceno, born on the 1st of November, 1981, is a Filipino actor who became famous under the screen name of Coco Martin, initially in the Philippines for his string of award-winning independent movies including “Masahista”, “Daybreak”, and “Kinatay”.

So how much is Martin’s net worth? As of mid 2017, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be $20 million acquired from his years working as an actor both in film and television which began at the turn of the century.

Born in Pampanga, Martin spent most of his early years in Novaliches, Quezon City with his grandmother, where he attended Jose Abad Santos Memorial School in Quezon City and later graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the National College of Business and Arts in Fairview, Quezon City.

Martin’s career in the entertainment industry started in 2001 when he became part of ABS-CBN network’s talent agency, Star Magic. He had a cameo appearance in the movie “Luv Text” and also became active in appearing in various TV advertisements.

Unfortunately, Martin’s career took a while to finally take-off. He decided to appear in independent films, and in 2005 he starred in the film “Masahista” or “The Masseur”, his role earning him a Young Critics Circle Best Actor Award, and leading to more independent films. After “Masahista”, he also starred in “Kaleledo”, “Daybreak”, and “Jay”. His early years as an actor in these films helped establish his career, and to raise his net worth.

In 2008, Martin was able to break again into mainstream television, when he became part of the show “LigawnaBulaklak”. After a year, it was then followed by another show “TayongDalawa”, and later on “NagsimulasaPuso”.

After starring in daytime soap operas, soon Martin made his way to primetime, and starred in “Kung Tayo’yMagkakalayo”. Later on, he got his first lead role in the show “TonyongBayawak”. He also made his first mainstream film when he starred in “Sa’yoLamang”.

Despite enjoying success in mainstream media, Martin once again went back to his independent roots, and appeared in the indie film “Kinatay”, for which he earned a Best Actor nomination from FAMAS Awards.

In the early 2010’s Martin’s career continued to flourish and he started to book more lead roles in both film and television. He led the cast of several television shows including “Minsan Lang KitangIibigin”, “WalangHanggan”, “Juan de la Cruz”, and “IkawLamang”. He also starred in a couple of films as the lead actor, including “Born to Love You”, “You’re My Boss” and “Maybe This Time”, consistently boosting his net worth.

Martinis is known to hold a record of more than 70 acting awards, and over 30 nominations in his career. His continued success has tremendously increased his wealth throughout these years.

Today, Martin is still active in the showbiz industry both in film and television. He is currently starring in the primetime television show “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and also starred in the movie “The Super Parental Guardians” late in 2016. He is set to direct and take the lead role in the movie “AngPanday”later in 2017.

In terms of his personal life, Martin is still single, with not even any rumours of romantic associations.
