Robbie Williams Wiki Biography

Robert Peter Williams was born on 13 February 1974, in Stoke-on-Trent, England, of Irish and English descent. Robbie is famous for being one of the members of the former band called “Take That” and also for his solo activities. During his career, Robbie has sold more than 18 million albums, and is one of the most acclaimed musician in the industry. This is only proven by numerous awards that he has won. Some of them include, MTV European Music Award, Brit Award, Edison Award, Virginia Media Award, Bambi Award and others. In 2004 he was also involved in the UK Music Hall of Fame and it only shows how respected and famous Robbie is.

So how rich is Robbie Williams? Sources have estimated that Robbie’s net worth is $200 million; the main source of this sum of money is, of course, his incredible career as a musician. Robbie has released many popular singles and is now known all over the world, so there is no surprise that his net worth is this high.

Robbie Williams studied at the Mill Hill Primary School and later at the St. Margaret Ward Roman Catholic School. In addition to this, he also attended dance school and even participated in several plays. His parents were publicans, but encouraged Robbie in his music ambitions. In 1990 Robbie became a part of the band called “Take That”. Other members of the group were Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald. Becoming a part of this band had a huge impact on the growth of Robbie Williams’ net worth and was a great start for his career as a musician.

Despite the success the band had, Robbie left it in 1995, because of issues he had with drugs and because of conflicts with other members. One year later Robbie began his solo career: his first single was a cover of George Michael’s “Freedom”, which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. Then in 1997 he released his first solo album entitled “Life Thru a Lens”. It soon gained a lot of praise and added a lot to Robbie’s net worth. Other albums released by Robbie include “Intensive Care”, “Rudebox” “Swings Both Ways”, “I’ve Been Expecting You” and others. In 2009 re-joined “Take That” and continued activities with this band until 2012. In addition to this, Robbie has appeared in the show called “Popstars: Girls forever” and participated in the creation of the movie “The Magic Roundabout”. Undoubtedly, Robbie will continue his career for a long time and soon his fans will be able to hear more about him.

While talking about Robbie Williams’ personal life, he began a relationship with actress Ayda Field in 2006, and in 2010 they married; the couple has two children. All in all, Robbie Williams is one of the greatest contemporary singers, who has made his name famous and recognizable all over the world. There is a distinct possibility that Robbie’s net worth will become higher as he continues his career.

Robbie Williams Quotes

  • I’ve lived in LA for a long time and they say, ‘If you sit in a barber’s shop for long enough you will get a hair cut’. Well, if you live in Los Angeles for long enough you’re going to get some surgery.
  • My weight is still my biggest struggle in life. I spend a lot of the day worrying about getting fit, and I can’t seem to do it. I’ve tried everything, and I really worry about it. Then I see the days to a tour, counting down. Chocolate should be banned worldwide.
  • The world’s a lot more exciting with One Direction in it. And more hearts will genuinely race at a new 1D album than they ever have or will at any Suede album in any time period.
  • [on “What’s The Story (Morning Glory)” by Oasis in 2010] It’s been my favourite album of the last 30 years. You can’t argue with how fantastic that album is.
  • [on A-Ha] Fucking great!
  • I think there are ghosts. I haven’t seen or heard anything. I’ve definitely felt something but it’s not scary. I’m very, very pleased to say.
  • With the war and everything that’s going on, unless you’re Susan Sarandon, the best route is to keep your mouth shut. For me it is, anyway!
  • I don’t have anything that I treasure at all. They’re just things. I tend to buy an awful lot of stuff, like clothes and things. But I wouldn’t be bothered if my house burns down tomorrow.
  • I’ve got this brilliant thing where I go, “I’m Robbie Williams”, and people are interested in what I want to say – which is amazing because I’m just an idiot from Stoke-on-Trent.
  • There’s no point regretting things. If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. Life’s too short to worry about things I’ve said.
  • I come from the tradition of a big Irish family that loves to sing. I love to perform.
  • Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe write some really great stuff – stuff that would put Oscar Wilde to shame. If the Pet Shop Boys ever wanted a third member, I’d be there.
  • When it comes down to it, I just like taking my pants down.
  • I’m not a musician, I’m an entertainer.
  • Inside me there is a fat man dying to get out.
  • I’d make a better U.S. President than George W. Bush. Bush is an idiot. I’m a better public speaker than him. It makes you wonder about the voters.
  • I’m rich beyond my wildest dreams.
