Randy Bruce Traywick was born on 4 May 1959, in Marshville, North Carolina, USA, whose ancestry dates back to early English migrants. He is a musician and an actor, best known for his numerous country music hits and also for appearing in such movies as “Texas Rangers”, “The Rainmaker”, and “Black Dog”. During his career, Randy has been nominated for and has won such awards as the Academy of Country Music Award, Grammy Award and Country Music Association Award. In addition to this, Randy has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

If you consider how rich Randy Travis is, it can be said that Randy’s estimated net worth is $5 million. The main source of this sum of money is, of course, his career as a singer including sales of his numerous successful albums. Randy’s appearances in various movies and television shows have also add a lot to this sum of money.

Randy began singing when he was only eight years old. At first he sang in church, but later he and his brothers started singing in various clubs and even participating in several talent contests. However, apparently Randy was quite a difficult child and got himself into trouble quite often, but Randy continued his singing career and won one of local talent contests. Soon he got a job in a local club, so was able to sing there as well. In 1978 Travis released his first self-titled album, which although it did not gain a lot of popularity, it marked the time when Randy’s net worth began growing.

In 1986 Travis released the album “Storms of Life”, which gained much more attention and had a huge impact on the growth of Travis’ net worth. Step by step Randy became noticed by others in the music industry, plus started winning prestigious awards. Other albums that Randy has released include “Rise and Shine”, “Heroes & Friends”, “This is Me”, “Songs of the Season” among others. Some of the most famous hits of Travis are “The Hole”, “Whisper My Name”, “Out of My Bones”, “Point of Light”, “On the Other Hand” and others now totalling over 20. All these albums, and many singles, made Randy’s net worth a lot higher.

As mentioned, Randy is also known as an actor. His first appearance was in 1992, in the television show “Matlock”. He appeared in his first movie, called “At Risk”, in 1994, during the making of which Randy worked with Elana K. Plye, Kim Meyers, Vince Vaughn and Daniel McDonald. Later Randy received even more invitations to portray various roles in differing movies and television shows. Some of his latest appearances include in “Texas Rangers”, “The Gift: Life Unwrapped”, “The Wager” and “Jerusalem Countdown”. Undoubtedly, Travis career as an actor has also had a huge impact on the growth of his net worth.

If to talk about Randy’s personal life, it can be said that in 1991 he married Elizabeth Hatcher. They were married for 19 years but in 2010 they decided to go their separate ways. In 2015, Randy married Mary Davis. Overall, it can be said that Randy is one of the most experienced and talented singers, who has gained numerous fans due to his unique style.
