Phoebe Waller-Bridge Wiki Biography

Born Phoebe Marry Waller-Bridge on the 14th July 1985 in London, England, she is a stage, television and film actress, playwright and director as well, but perhaps best known to the world for creating and starring in the TV series “Fleabag”, and for playing Susie in the film “The Iron Lady”, among other differing roles she has secured so far in her career.

Have you ever wondered how rich Phoebe Waller-Bridge is, as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Waller-Bridge’s net worth is as high as $3 million, an amount earned through her successful career, active since 2009.

Born the middle child to Michael Waller-Bridge and his wife Teresa, she was brought up in Ealing, West London alongside her older sister Isobel Waller-Bridge, now a composer, and younger brother, Jasper, a music manager.

She went to a Catholic independent school for girls, St. Augustine’s Priory, in Ealing, and then DLD College London, an independent sixth form college in Marylebone. She ultimately received a degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where she also appeared in several plays, including “Imperceptible Mutabilities of the Third Kingdom”, “The Life of Timon of Athens”, and “Twelfth Night”, among others.

She made her professional debut in the play “Roaring Trade” in 2009, and since then has appeared in a number of successful plays, such as “Rope”, “Hay Fever”, “Fleabag” – which she also wrote – and “The One”, among others, all of which helped to firmly establish her net worth. She also received several prestigious awards for her work on “Flea”, including Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright, and The Stage award, among others.

After a successful start on stage, Phoebe started auditioning for screen roles, and appeared in a minor role in the TV series “Doctors”, also in 2009. In 2011 she featured in the romantic drama film “The Night Watch”, starring Jenna Augen, Neal Barry and Claude Blakley, while she also had a supporting role in the Academy Award-winning drama about Margaret Thatcher entitled “The Iron Lady”, and starring Meryl Streep, Jim Broadbent and Richard E. Grant, which increased her net worth to a large degree. In 2015 she appeared in the romantic comedy film “Man Up”, while in 2016 she created the TV comedy series “Crashing”, in which she also starred next to Jonathan Bailey and Julie Dray. However, she reached stardom when BBC Three decided to air her play “Fleabag”, and then turn it into a TV series. She was rewarded with a BAFTA Award in the category Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for “Fleabag”, and also Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award in the category Individual Achievement in Comedy.

The same year Phoebe starred in another TV comedy series she had created – “Crashing” – aired on Channel 4.

Most recently, Phoebe portrayed Mary Brown in the biopic about A.A. Milne, entitled “Goodbye Christopher Robin” (2017), and is now working on the action fantasy adventure film “Solo: A Star Wars Story”, scheduled for release late in 2018.

When it comes to her personal life, Phoebe is married to producer and director Conor Woodman. Other aspects of her life remain unknown to the public eyes.
