Nick Searcy was born on 7 March 1959, in Cullowhee, North Carolina USA, and is an actor, best known for being part of the series “Justified” playing Chief Deputy United States Marshal Art Mullen. He’s been active in the industry since 1990, and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Nick Searcy? As of late-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $500,000, mostly earned through success in acting. He was also part of the miniseries “From the Earth to the Moon” which was produced by Tom Hanks. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Nick attended Cullowhee High School, and after matriculating enrolled at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He then moved to study English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, following which in 1982 he moved to New York, and became involved in stage productions, appearing in many off-Broadway plays for the next seven years, including “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Cabaret”. He then moved back to North Carolina and started to appear in local features, including “Days of Thunder” and “The Prince of Tides”, which is based on the novel of the same name. In 1991, he then played Frank in “Fried Green Tomatoes” which is based on the novel, “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café” by Fannie Flagg.
Searcy’s net worth started to increase, and more opportunities opened up for him on television. He was given a recurring role in “Thunder Alley”, and became a regular on the show “American Gothic” produced by Sam Raimi, but it wasn’t renewed after a season. He then made guest appearances in “Nash Bridges” and Murder One”, before in 1998 becoming a cast member of “Seven Days”, a science fiction series focusing on time travel, and staying with the show for three years. Searcy’s next project would be the sitcom “Rodney” which aired for two years, and in which he played Barry Martin. While doing all of these projects, he was also a part of several television movies, including “Le Jeu de I’oie” and “Best of Families: Marriage, Pride and Madness”. He also continued to do film work, appearing in “Cast Away” and “The Assassination of Richard Nixon”. One of his latest projects is the drama show “Intelligence”.
Aside from his acting work, Nick is also a producer and director – his first independent feature was “Paradise Falls” which was released in 1997, and won a Hollywood Discovery Award at the Hollywood Film Festival, and several awards at the Charleston, SC, 1997 WorldFest. All of these opportunities have had a hand in building his net worth.
