Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, known by his stage name of Nate Dogg, was born on 19 August 1969. in Clarksville Mississippi USA. Nate was a talented singer and rapper, being a solo artist and a member of the rap band “213” as well. His singing career was featured with performances together with such celebrities as Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, Warren G, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Ludacris among others.
So how rich was Nate Dogg? Sources estimate that during his long career from 1992 to 2011, Nate managed to accumulate a net worth of $1.5 million. In addition to singing, Nate Dogg’s net worth also consisted of incomes he earned while acting in several movies.
Nate Dogg became interested in singing while still young, and was part of the choir in the New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach, following the Life Line Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Mississippi where his father Daniel Lee Hale was pastor. Nate did not complete high school in Long Beach, but left home to join the US Marine Corps when he was 17, serving for three years. He became a munitions specialist, and is quoted as saying that his reason for joining was that “I wanted to see if I was a man.”
Nate Dogg became a member of the rap trio “213”, established in 1990, along with Snoop Dog and Warren G Nate had more rappers among his friends, including Daz Dillinger, RBX and others.The year of 1994 was important for Nate Dogg, when he released his first hit single, “Regulate”, performing along with Warren G Nate Dogg’s net worth was also enlarged by the rapper`s collaboration with Tupac while recording “Thug Life: Volume 1” released in 1994. Nate Dogg`s subsequent album “Music and Me” reached third position on the Billboard hip-hop charts soon after release. In total, Nate Dogg also released three solo albums named as “G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1 & 2” (1998), “Music and Me” (2001) and “Nate Dogg” (2003). These albums were very popular as regards rap music, so Nate Dogg’s net worth increased considerably.
In 2014, Nate`s final studio album named “Nate Dogg: It`s A Wonderful Life” was released. Seven Arts Music, Music Group and United Media worked on the production of this album including the never released single along with others performed in collaboration with Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre.
Nate Dogg was also a TV star. He appeared in the television game show “Weakest Link” which was hosted by Anne Robinson and aired on BBC Two from 2000 to 2012. As for his filmography, Nate Dogg added some money to his net worth with his appearance in the 2002 French action thriller film “The Transporter” with the song “I Got Love”. He was also a theme song singer for one of the episodes of the sketch comedy “Doggy Fizzle Televizzie”. Moreover, Nate Dogg appeared in the adult animated sitcom “The Boondocks” (2008). Nate composed and performed the theme song for the comedy film “Head of State” (2003), , while in “Need for Speed: Underground”, a racing game published in 2003, Nate Dogg performed the song “Keep It Comin”. All these appearances helped Nate to enlarge the overall sum of his net worth.
Nate Dogg had many personal problems: he was arrested for kidnappings, robberies, fire-arm offences, telephone harassment, and also drug-related offences. Nate began having health problems in 2007. The celebrity suffered two strokes, which resulted in his death in 2011, in Long Beach, California.
At the time of his death, Nate Dogg was married to LaToya Calvin. Nate had six children.
