Mark Stevens was born in 1960 in Culver City, California USA and is a businessman and venture capitalist, best known to the world as one of the partners at the Sequoia Capital company, founded back in 1972 by Don Valentine.

After finishing high school, Mark enrolled at the University of Southern California, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then furthered his studies, obtaining a master’s degree from the same university. That wasn’t the end of his education since Mark enrolled at Harvard University and acquired Masters of Business Administration degree.
