John Mark Hall was born on the 14th September 1969 in Henry County, Georgia USA, and is a Gospel Music Award-nominated singer, composer, and musician, best known as a lead vocalist of the contemporary Christian music group called Casting Crowns. Hall’s career started in 1999.

Have you ever wondered how rich Mark Hall is, as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Hall’s net worth is as high as $3 million, an amount earned through his successful career in music. In addition to being a member of the band, Hall has also worked as a Baptist pastor, which also improved his wealth somewhat.

Mark Hall had several troubles in his childhood, as he was diagnosed with dyslexia and with attention deficit disorder while he was in elementary school. Mark started his church work as a youth pastor to the First Baptist Church in Samson, Alabama, but he also served in other churches while at the Baptist College of Florida, where he studied music.

After graduation, Mark moved to Loganville, Georgia to work as the Minister of Music and Students at Center Hill Baptist Church. He started a youth band in each church he worked in as a way of involving students with music. Hall later served at the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, and in 1999 he formed the band called Casting Crowns, which was a student worship band at the start, with the other members at the time being Juan DeVevo (guitar), Hector Cervantes (guitar), Melodee DeVevo (vocals and violin), and Darren Hughes (production manager).

Two years later, Hall and Casting Crowns moved to McDonough, Georgia to work at the Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church, when Chris Huffman (bass guitar), and Megan Garrett (keyboard, vocals, accordion) joined the band, while in 2002, Andy Williams joined and completed the Casting Crowns. Their self-titled album came out in 2003 and it achieved double platinum status with over two million copies sold in the US; it reached No. 59 on Billboard 200, No. 2 on Billboard Christian Albums, and topped the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Another platinum release, “Lifesong” came out in 2005, and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Christian Albums chart too, while singles “Lifesong”, “Praise You In This Storm”, and “Does Anybody Hear Her” all topped the Christian Songs chart. The album also won the Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album, and numerous other awards.

In 2007, the Casting Crowns recorded their third studio album entitled “The Altar and the Door”, which achieved platinum status and reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, No. 2 on Billboard Digital Albums, and topped the Billboard Christian Albums chart. It was rewarded with the GMA Dove Awards for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. By the end of the 2000s, the Casting Crowns released two more albums: “Peace on Earth” (2008) and “Until the Whole World Hears” (2009), with the latter certified platinum with over million sales in America, increasing further Hall’s net worth.

In 2011, the band recorded “Come to the Well”, while in 2014, they released “Thrive”, and most recently, the Casting Crowns made “The Very Next Thing” (2016).

In addition to being a musician, Mark Hall is also a successful author, as he has published “Life Stories: Finding God’s Voice of Truth Through Everyday Life” (2006), “Your own Jesus: A God Insistent on Making It Personal” (2009), and “The Well: Why are so Many Still Thirsty?” (2011).
