He has been active in the entertainment industry since 1998.

How much is the net worth of Luis Fonsi? It has been estimated by authoritative sources that the outright size of his net worth is over $10 million, as of the data presented in early 2017.

To begin with, Luis Fonsi was raised in Orlando, Florida, to where his family moved when he was 10. He had the desire to become a member of the Latin boy band Menudo, which he could not realize. Instead, he was involved in several more unknown boybands, including Big Guys, making friends with the later NSYNC member Joey Fatone. In 1995, Fonsi began his music studies at Florida State University, and while still a student, he recorded demo songs in Miami. The President of the Music Department finally discovered Fonsi’s talent and arranged a record deal with a large record company.

In 1998, Luis Fonsi recorded his first album – “Commenzaré” – which became a hit not only in Puerto Rico but in the whole of Latin America. His next album “Eterno” (2000) had great success too, and at this time, he also sang a duet with Christina Aguilera for her Spanish album “Mi Reflejo” (2000). Meantime, Fonsi had become a celebrity in Spain, as he sang for Pope John Paul II during his visit. The same year, a song composed by Fonsi won Ednita Nazario a Latin Grammy. He also appeared on the occasion of the 11th September together with various other artists in the White House. In 2001, remixes of the two albums “Commenzaré” and “Eterno: were released, while Fonsi worked on his following album, “Amor Secreto”, which was released in 2002. His first English album, “Fight the Feeling”, was also released in 2002. His net worth was well set.

In 2004, he collaborated with Ex-Spice-Girl Emma Bunton for their album “Free Me”, then Fonsi’s album “Abrazar la Vida” opened up new markets in Europe, reaching a high place in several charts, and through his sixth album -“Paso a Paso”- he became internationally known. The single “Nada es Para Siempre” was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards. In 2006, Fonsi published compilation album “ Éxitos 98:06”, and in 2008 the album “Palabras del Silencio” followed. With the single “No Me Doy Por Vencido” he entered the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time and also topped the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks, the same year giving a private concert for the 700 winners of a Pepsi sponsored award. At the end of 2009, he took part in the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama in Oslo, Norway. In 2014, Fonsi launched the song “You Arrived” with the collaboration of Juan Luis Guerra. In 2015, the artist inaugurated the LVI version of the Festival of Viña del Mar, in Chile, where he surprised with a mix of covers, but boosted his net worth further.

Finally, in the personal life of Lius Fonsi, he married Adamari Lopez in 2006, but they divorced in 2010. At the end of 2014, he married the model Agueda Lopez; they have two children.
