His net worth is estimated at $50 million, most of his money having been made from racing, both as a driver and a team owner, from salary, bonuses, and percentage of race winnings. In 2014, Busch was ranked number 5 in Forbes’ NASCAR’s Highest-Paid Drivers, with earnings of $15.8 million, a salary of $12.8 million and $3 million from endorsements. In fact, in 13 years of racing, Busch has made more than $90 million, in NASCAR Sprint Cup, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and NASCAR Southwest Series. The driver adds more money to his net worth from endorsements. He has deals with Snickers, Pedigree, M&M’s, Combos, and Double Mint Gum, although his main sponsor is Toyota. Kyle Busch owns a $7.5 million mansion on Lake Norman, with panoramic views of Lake Norman, a boat dock and a heated swimming pool.
Kyle Busch began his driving career when he was only 13, in legends car racing. When he was 16, he started racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, his debut being made at Indianapolis Raceway Park, where he finished 9th. Today, Kyle Busch is considered one of the best racers ever, being a top driver in both Nation Wide Series and Sprint Cup Series: he won The Southern 500 in 2008, he was the champion of 2009 Nationwide Series, and won the Budweiser Shootout and the Prelude to the Dream in 2012.
Kyle has also appeared in numerous television series and documentaries, including “NASCAR Nextel Cup Allstate 400”, “2008 NASCAR Daytona 500”, “Rome Is Burning”, “Fast and Furious: A NASCAR Wedding”, and “NASCAR on Fox”. In 2015, Kyle Busch was hurt in an accident during the Xfinity Series and he had to retire for several months. He returned in May and a month later he won the Xfinity Series race at Michigan. He received an offer to drive for the US F1, but he declined it.
Kyle Busch is also famous for his legal troubles caused by reckless driving. In 2011, the media wrote about the driver being fined after driving at 128 mph (206 km/h) instead of 45 mph (72 km/h), which was the speed limit. The fine was $1000.
