Kristen Johnston Wiki Biography

Kristen Johnston was born on 20 September 1967, in Washington, D.C. USA, and is best known as a stage, movie and TV actress who appeared in ‘’3rd Rock From the Sun’’ and ‘’Ugly Betty’’. She is the daughter of Rod Johnston, a former Wisconsin Republican state senator.

So just how rich is Kristen Johnston as of late 2017? Authoritative sources estimate that Johnston’s net worth is as high as $14 million, accumulated from her over three decades-long acting career. In addition, she is an author.

Kristen was raised in a suburb of Milwaukee. She attended St. Eugene’s Catholic Grade School and Whitefish Bay High School, then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in drama from New York University. Johnston made her debut in the short movie entitled ‘’The Orkly Kid’’ in 1985. In 1993, she portrayed Alice Kosnick in ‘’The Debt’’, and in the following year she was a guest star in an episode of ‘’Chicago Hope’’. In 1996, she was cast as Grace Chapman in ‘’London Suite’’, then joined the cast of ‘’3rd Rock from the Sun’’ starring as Sally Solomon. The series received mostly positive reviews over six seasons, and won two Golden Globe awards, with Johnston nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television in 1997; the series ended in 2001.

In 2002, Kristen made an appearance in ‘’Austin Powers in Goldmember’’, which grossed over $296 million, and in the same year, she provided the voice for Sylvia in ’’Ice Age’’. She had several comparatively small roles over the next few years, in ‘’Sex and the City’’, ‘’Duane Incarnate’’, and in six episodes of “Man with No Name’’. In 2010 she landed the starring role in ‘’Beach Lane’’, acting alongside Matthew Broderick, and in 2011 she began working on ‘’The Exes’’ as Holly Franklin, and appeared in all 64 episodes of the four season series, which won two Primetime Emmy Awards. All contributed to her net worth.

As of the same year, Johnston wrote ‘’Guts: The Endless Follies and Tiny Triumphs of a Giant Disaster’’, in which she depicted her journey and drug-related problems.

In 2016, she played the main character in ‘’Thrill Ride’’, which won several awards including for Best Science Fiction/Fantasy. In 2017, she played Anna in six episodes of ‘’Daytime Divas’’.

Johnston made her series debut in the episode entitled ‘’Coma Bump’’, still raising her net worth.

When it comes to Kristen’s future projects, she will act in three movies in 2017 and 2018, including ‘’Real Life’’, where she will star as Beverly. Johnston will also play the main character in ‘’Swiped’’. Overall, Johnston has appeared in 49 movie and television projects so far. In addition, she has been a guest of talk show hosts such as Wendy Williams and Kelly Ripa.
