Kellan Christopher Lutz Wiki Biography

Kellan Christopher Lutz is a model and actor, born on 15th March 1985 in Dickinson, North Dakota, USA. He is probably best known for playing Emmett Cullen in “The Twilight Saga” film series, but has since also played in other films such as “Immortals” (2011), “Tarzan” (2013) and “The Legend of Hercules” (2014).

Have you ever wondered how rich Kellan Lutz is, as of early 2018? According to sources it has been estimated that Kellan Lutz’s overall net worth is $5 million, most of which has been accumulated by portraying a role in one of the most popular teenage sagas, and thus gaining considerable popularity. His other film appearances have also added to his net worth. Since he is still very active in the entertainment industry, his net worth continues to grow.

Kellan was born into a family of eight children, and grew up in the midwest and Arizona. He attended Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, and then enrolled at Chapman University to pursue a degree in chemical engineering, but didn’t graduate, prefering to become an actor.

Before his big break in the “Twilight” saga, Lutz had recurring roles in “Model Citizens” (2004) and “The Comeback”(2005) and also several support roles in episodes of numerous popular TV series, such as “CSI: NY Summerland”, “Six Feet Under”, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Heroes”, among others.

Additionally, he was the host of Bravo’s reality television series “Blow Out”, before in 2006 and 2007, co-operating with Hilary Duff and appearing in the commercial for her fragrance “With Love…Hillary Duff” as well as in her music video for her single “With Love”. Atleast his net worth was now established.

A year later in 2008, he appeared in the miniseries “Generation Kill”, and had a role in the film “Deep Winter”. However, the same year he was cast for the first time in what was to become a trilogy – Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” and its sequel a year later “The Twilight Saga: New Mon” (2009). Since then, his career has had a wind at its back, and he has appeared in various films: in 2010 he appeared in the remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Streer”, and the same year reprised his role of Emmet Cullen in the third sequel of the Twilight saga “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”. A year later he portrayed the god of the sea, Poseidon, in “Immortals” , followed almost immediately by a reunion with his close friend and co-star, Ashley Greene, in making the romantic sports drama “A Warrior’s Heart”. However, not all of Kellan’s efforts have been successes, as in 2014 he ‘starred’ in what turned out to be a critical and commercial failure, “The Legend Of Hercules”.

Some of Kellan’s more recent activities have included the 2015 thriller “Money” directed by Martin Rosete, and he has just finished filming “Guardians of the Tomb”, and “Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets”, adding steadily to his net worth.

When it comes to his modeling career, Kellan signed with Ford Models, and is one of the Calvin Klein X underwear campaign models.

Lutz likes to keep his private life exactly that, although he was known to be dating model Brittany Ward. However, in November 2017 Kellan married TV hostess Brittany Gonzales.

Kellan is known for being devoted to charity, especially to “Saving Innocence”, an organization working on rescuing and rehabilitating child victims of sex trafficking in the US. Apart from this, he also strongly supports “PETA” and “Ape Action Africa”, which raises funds to save endangered ape species.

Kellan Christopher Lutz Quotes

  • Well my family is really supportive of it all and is glad to see me on TV or on the big screen which is great. As far as school, well it affected that greatly since I quit going to school to take the biggest risk of my life and pursue acting. I worked my butt off in high school and received a lot of scholarships for college and to throw all that away for acting was tough for my family, but it was just something I felt my heart pulling me towards and don’t regret a single minute of it. I love to act!
