Keith Thibodeaux Wiki Biography

Keith Raymond Thibodeaux, better known by his stage name Richard Keith, was born on the 1st December 1950, in Lafayette, Louisiana USA, and is an actor and former child actor, who is probably still best recognized for starring in the role of Little Ricky in the TV series “I Love Lucy” (1956-1957) and in “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” (1957-1960), and for playing Johnny Paul Jason in the TV series “The Andy Griffith Show” (1962-1966). He is also known as a musician.

So, have you ever wondered how rich Keith Thibodeaux is, as of mid-2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that the total size of Keith’s net worth is over $1 million, accumulated not only through his successful involvement in the film industry, but also through his involvement in the music industry. Another source has been coming from the sales of his autobiographical book “Life After Lucy” (1994).

Keith Thibodeaux was raised in a Roman Catholic family in his hometown. He attended St. Victor’s elementary school in West Hollywood, after which he went to St. Jane Frances de Chantel in North Hollywood. Thereafter, he was a student at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks for only two years, but when his parents divorced in 1966, he moved back to his hometown with his siblings and mother, and transferred to Lafayette High School.

Keith’s professional acting career began when he was only six years old in 1956, making his debut appearance in the role of Little Ricky Ricardo in the hit TV series “I Love Lucy”, which lasted until 1957. When the filming of the TV series was ended, he immediately began to reprise the role in its sequel entitled “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” (1957-1960), which added a considerable amount to his net worth. Two years later came his next big role, when he was chosen to portray Johnny Paul Jason in the TV series “The Andy Griffith Show” (1962-1966). During that time, he also made guest-starring appearance in such TV series as “The Bill Dana Show” (1963), “The Joey Bishop Show” (1964), and “The Farmer’s Daughter” (1966), among others. Moreover, Keith starred in the 1975 film “A Shadow In The Streets”, after which he took a long break until 2009, when he was cast in “C Me Dance”, and most recently, he guest-starred in the TV series “The 700 Club” in 2015. All of these appearances increased his net worth by a large margin.

Speaking about his musical career, when he was only two years old Keith began playing drums, and in no time started earning money as a professional drummer, who went on tour with the Horace Heidt Orchestra at the age of three. While in high school, he performed with various bands. Upon matriculation, he moved to Mississippi in order to enroll at college, but he quit education as he decided to pursue career as a musician, and joined a band called David and the Giants in 1969. Later, he left the band and performed with jazz bands in local night clubs; however, he again joined the old band with a new name Christian David and the Giants in 1974. They released more than 10 albums during the 1980s and 1990s, which contributed a lot to his net worth.

To speak further about his career, Keith began in 1990 to serve in the position of the Executive Director at Ballet Magnificat!, which is the company of his wife, Kathy, a former professional ballet dancer, who participated at the 1982 II USA International Ballet Competition and won a Silver Medal in the Senior Division.

When it comes to speak about his personal life, Keith Thibodeaux has been married to Kathy Denton Thibodeaux since 1976; the couple has a daughter.
