Joseph Scott Galloway Wiki Biography

Joseph Scott Galloway, born on the 20th of November 1971, is an American sports analyst and former American Football player in the National Football League(NFL). He became popular when he played wide receiver with the Seattle Seahawks, and for many other teams throughout his career.

So how much is Galloway’s net worth? As of mid-2016, it is reported by authoritative sources to be $10 million, acquired largely from his years playing in the NFL, and subsequently in his new career as a sports analyst.

Born in Bellaire, Ohio, Galloway is the son of Carolyn and James. He attended Bellaire High School, where his love for sports emerged. He played basketball in which he became an All-Ohio choice, and he also joined the track team in which he became a champion at both the 100 and 200 meter dash. Although he was excelling in many other sports, he most fell in love with American Football. He achieved great feats as a wide receiver at school, and so he later continued to play the sport in college.

Galloway was accepted into Ohio State University, where he played football for the Buckeyes. During his years playing in college, he achieved many milestones and won many awards. He became First-team All-Big Ten during his junior year and Second-team All-big Ten in his last year in college.

With his outstanding credentials, Galloway was then drafted as the eighth pick of the Seattle Seahawks in the 1995 NFL Draft, and it officially started his career in the National Football League; his contract signing with the team also tremendously helped in his net worth.

Galloway performed well with the Seattle Seahawks for five years, until he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys on 2000. With his new contract with the Cowboys, he set a record for being the second highest paid wide receiver in the league at the time, so his new team not only made him more famous, but also increased his wealth.

After four years Galloway was once again traded, this time to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the new team came a new contract, that also helped in his net worth. He played with the Buccaneers until 2009 and then became a free agent.

During his last years in the sport, Galloway transferred from team after team. He played for teams including the New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Washington Redskins. In 2010, he finally retired as an American Football player, having played almost 200 games in a 17-year career with six clubs.

After his retirement, Galloway returned to the American Football scene, this time as a college sports analyst. In 2011, he joined ESPN and is now hosting with Danny Kanell and Adnan Virk. His transition to being a sports analyst also helped maintain his wealth.

In his personal life, suffice to say that Joey keeps in VERY private
