Jeremy Kyle was born on 7 July 1965, in Reading, Berkshire, England, and is a television and radio show host, best known for being the host of the controversial talk show “The Jeremy Kyle Show” which aired on ITV. He also hosted a US version of his show and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Jeremy Kyle? As of mid-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $5 million, mostly earned through success in radio and television work. He’s been active in the industry since 1996 and has worked with various networks. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Jeremy attended the all-boys independent Reading Blue Coat School. After matriculating, he enrolled at the University of Surrey where he studied History and Sociology.

In 1986, Kyle would start working various jobs including radio advertising sales, life insurance sales, and recruitment consulting. He worked these jobs for a decade, and then became a radio presenter. He stayed briefly with Orchard FM and Leicester Sound before signing with Kent’s Invicta FM in 1996, then the following year he joined BRMB and presented several shows. In 2000, he went to work at the Century FM network and took his show from BRMB called “Jezza’s Jukebox” and turned it to “Jezza’s Confessions”. He won a Sony Award for the show “Late & Live”, and would then broadcast for Virgin Radio from 2002, with his show called “Jezza’s Virgin Confessions”. He stayed with Virgin Radio for two years before moving the show now called “Capital Confessions” to Capital FM. It would run for a year before he started “The Jeremy Kyle Show”.

Jeremy then moved his show to ITV, and it soon became one of the most popular as well as controversial shows on the network. In 2007 he started the series “Kyle’s Academy” which aims to help people have a more fulfilling life; the radio version of “The Jeremy Kyle Show” also started airing on Gcap Media’s One Network, with a different format in that he interviewed celebrities. He was also part of the ITV program “The Fattest Man in Britain”. In 2011 he started “Military Driving School” – a documentary series – and would then become a host of the game show “High Stakes”.

A few of Kyle’s latest projects include “The Kyle Files”, and “Jeremy Kyle’s Emergency Room”. Since 2016, he has become a guest presenter on the breakfast program called “Good Morning Britain”.

Aside from his radio and television work, Kyle writes a column for the magazine “Pick Me Up”. He also wrote his first book called “I’m Only Being Honest”, which includes some stories about his life.

For his personal life, Jeremy was married to Kirsty Rowley from 1989-91, and with whom he has a daughter, then to Carla Germaine (2003-16) with whom he has a son and two daughters. It is known that Jeremy suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder. In 2012, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent chemotherapy, after surgery to remove the affected testicle. He soon returned to hosting after recovering from the illness.
