Jaimie Lauren Tarbush was born on 12 March 1984, in Greenville, South Carolina USA, and is an actress, best known for being part of the television series “Kyle XY” as Jessi. She’s also been seen in the superhero film “Thor” as Sif. All of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Jaimie Alexander? As of late-2016, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $4 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting which began in 2001. She reprised her role of Sif in “Thor: The Dark Word” and the television series “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”. She also stars in the series “Blindspot”, and as she continues her career it is expected that her wealth will increase.
Jaimie started acting in grade school, just taking theater for fun. In high school, she was kicked out of theatre because she was not able to sing, so she then transitioned to sports. She matriculated from Colleyville Heritage High School and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting after she met a manager from a scouting agency.
In 2003, she was cast in “The Other Side” which would go on to win awards; her role was first intended to counter male auditioners, but she was chosen after the director heard her deliver her lines. Her net worth started to increase and the film would open up other opportunities for her, including appearances in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Standoff”. She then appeared in the series “Watch Over Me”, and had her first lead role in the horror film “Rest Stop” in which she played Nicole Carrow. She was then cast in another horror film “Hallowed Ground”, which is about a small town that is inhabited by a sect that wants to revive their dead founder.
She then played one of her most popular roles in the show “Kyle XY”, in which she portrays a girl with superhuman powers; the role would help her gain a large fan base, and to significantly increase her net worth – many fans hoped that she would get her own spin-off show. She then made appearances in “CSI: Miami” and “Bones”. In 2009, she was cast in the film “Thor” as Sif, and would later reprise the role in “Thor: Dark World”. She also made two guest appearances in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”. In 2010, she was cast in the film “Loosies” and then joined the cast of “Nurse Jackie”. Later, she appeared in three episodes of “Covert Affairs”, and would also make an appearance in the 2013 film “Savannah. A few of her latest projects include “The Last Stand” which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and the “Blindspot” series.
Other projects Alexander has been a part of include being part of the song “Save You” by Matthew Perryman Jones, and of the web series “Ultradome”, plus being cast in the film “The Birds of Anger” which was inspired by the game “Angry Birds” and by the film “The Birds” by Alfred Hitchcock.
