Hezekiah Xzavier Walker, Jr. was born on the 24th December 1962 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA, and is recognized for being not only the Bishop and Pastor of the church Love Fellowship Tabernacle, but also as a gospel musician, singer, and choir leader, who has released several albums with his choir named Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. His career has been active since 1985.

Hezekiah Walker spent his childhood in his hometown, where upon matriculation he enrolled at Long Island University, majoringd in Sociology. Afterwards, he was a student at both Hugee Theological Seminary and the New York School of the Bible, and attended the Philadelphia Bible University in Bensalem.

His musical career as a gospel singer began in 1985, when he won the Grammy Award with the choir that he established from his own gospel group under the name Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. At the same time, he served as a Pentecostal minister. With the choir he released their debut album entitled “I’ll Make It” in 1987, and “Oh Lord We Praise You” in 1990, after which he moved focus on his career as a solo artist. His debut solo album was released in 1992 named “Focus On Glory”, after which he continued to line up success after success, releasing over 10 solo studio albums, such as “Live In Atlanta At Morehouse College” (1994), “Love Is Love!” (2001), “Souled Out” (2008), and most recently “Azusa: The Next Generation 2 – Better” in 2016, all of which added considerably to his net worth.

Thanks to his accomplishment in gospel music, Walker was nominated with the choir for an NAACP Image Award in the category of Best Gospel Artist, Traditional for their work on “Love Is Love!”. He has also won two Grammy Awards for his works on “Live In Atlanta At Morehouse College” and “Love Is Love!”.

While he traveled with the choir, Walker began his pastoral training, and many of the members of his choir became members of his church Love Fellowship Tabernacle, which is now located in several places across the US. Subsequently, he received confirmation in 2003 for his pastorship from Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, the Presiding Prelate of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus Christ, and Pastor Wilbur Jones, who was of the Beulah Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, at the 10th Founders Week Celebration of the Love Fellowship Tabernacle. Five years later, as his church was one of the fastest-growing, Walker was selected to be consecrated as a bishop, and was appointed 1st Vice Bishop during Holy Convocation in 2009.

To speak further about his career, Walker is also known for being the Founder and Overseer of the Covenant Keepers International Fellowship. Beside that, he has written the book “Destiny: Dream It, Declare It, Do It”, published in 2003.
