Have you ever wondered how rich Greg Gagne is, as of late 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Gagne’s wealth is as high as $10 million, an amount earned through his successful career as a baseball player, active from 1983 until 1997.
Unfortunately, Greg’s life before the 1979 MLB Draft hasn’t been made available to the media. However, before joining the Minnesota Twins, Greg was drafted by the New York Yankees, and spent three years in minor leagues before he was sent to the Minnesota Twins in 1982. The following year, he made his professional debut for the Twins and played for the franchise until 1992, winning two World Series with the Twins, in 1987 and 1991, before the expiration of his contract in 1992. He was a major contributor to the Twins’ defense during the World Series finals, and earned the respect ofm the fans and front office. Unfortunately, the latter still decided not to extend his contract after 1992, and as a result, Greg signed a contract with the Kansas City Royals worth $10.6 million over three years, which increased his wealth to a large degree. He spent all three seasons in Kansas City, and continued with great form, setting a batting average of .265.
In 1996 he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers, and then retired from baseball at the end of the 1997 season after his contract expired.
However, Greg stayed in baseball, assuming a coaching position, but hasn’t moved from high school level so far. He was the head coach of the Bishop Feehan High School baseball team, Massachusetts premier Catholic college.
Thanks to his success with Minnesota, Greg was inducted into the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame in 2010.
Regarding his personal life, Greg’s residence is in Somerset, Massachusetts, however, there are no details as to whether this baseball star is married or not.
