Efrain Antonio Ramirez was born in Los Angeles, California USA on 2 October 1973, and is an actor and a disk jockey of Costa Rican and Salvadoran descent. Ramirez is well known for his role of Pedro Sanchez in the 2004 movie „Napoleon Dynamite“.

He continued training at The Whole Theatre Company, performing improv at The Whitefire Theatre, and The Icehouse, in Pasadena. His famous role of Pedro Sanchez in “Napoleon Dynamite” (2004) was his successful breakthrough film, with some of his other roles being Jorge in “Employee of the Month” (2006), Carlos in “All You’ve Got” (2006), Bobby Verdugo in “Walkout” (2006), Kaylo in “Crank” (2006) and “Crank: High Voltage” (2009), and Hector in “American Summer” (2009), all of which contributed to his rising net worth. He also appeared in several minor roles.
