Dave Foley Wiki Biography
Born David Scott Foley on the 4th January 1963 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, he is a an actor, comedian and writer, perhaps best known for his roles in such TV series as “The Kids In The Hall” (1988-1995), and “NewsRadio” (1995-1999), among others.
Have you ever wondered how rich Dave Foley is, as of mid- 2016? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Dave Foley`s net worth is (minus) -$500,000, because of his first marriage, and alimentation he has to pay to his ex-wife until his children are at least 18 years old.
Dave grew up in a working-class family, as his father was a steamfitter and his mother worked as a housewife. He wasn`t satisfied in school, and dropped out of education as soon as he could, and his next move was joining the Toronto Second City Training Centre. He spent a year there before meeting Kevin McDonald, who hired him as an usher at a local art house movie theatre. The two collaborated further, starting the sketch comedy group “The Kids In The Hall”, which also featured Bruce McCulloch, Scott Thompson, and Mark McKinney – before their group started, Dave had already made several appearances, including those in “High Stakes” (1986), and “Anne of Avonlea” (1987).
He was an active member of the group until 1995, when dissatisfied with the quality of their work, he left them and joined “NewsRadio”, but he rejoined the group in 2000, and since then has performed with “The Kids In The Hall”. This has been an important contributor to his income.
Apart from this career, Dave has appeared in more than 100 TV and film titles, including the “The Wrong Guy” (1997) starring himself with David Anthony Higgins, “Dick” (1999), “On the Line” (2001), “Stark Raving Mad” (2002), and “Employee Of The Month” (2004) with Matt Dillon and Christina Applegate. In 2007 he starred in “California Dreaming”, with Lea Thompson, and the same year he featured in “Netherbeast Incorporated” and “Postal”. Since 2010, his career has started to improve, as he found engagement in several television series, including “Hot in Cleveland” (2010-2015), “Dan Vs.” (2011-2013), “The Middle” (2012-2015), “Spun Out” (2014-2015), and “Dr. Ken” (2015-2016). Most recently, Dave has featured in the TV series “Harvey Beaks” (2015-2016), which also increased his theoretic net worth.
Dave has done some of his best work as a voice actor, lending his voice to characters from such animated films as “A Bug`s Life” (1998), “Cars” (2006), “Robot Chicken” (2013), and “Monsters University” (2013) among others, all of which have added to his net worth.
Thanks to his skills, Dave has received numerous prestigious nominations and awards, including four Primetime Emmy nominations, and a Gemini award in the category Best Performance in a Comedy Program or Series for his work with “The Kids In The Hall”, among many other awards.
Regarding his personal life, Dave has been married twice, but both marriages ended in divorce.
His first wife was Tabatha Southey; the couple married in 1991 and divorced six years later. They had two children together, for which Dave is obligated to pay $10,700 per month, which was 400% higher than his monthly income, which is now the reason for his low net worth. As this is unviable, he has to live outside Canada for the moment, or face contempt of court charges.
Dave`s second marriage was to Crissy Guerrero; their marriage lasted from 2002 until 2008, and they had a child together, named Alina, who is now a child actress; there is no information on the settlement!
