Dave Attell was born on the 18th January 1965, in Queens, New York City, USA of Jewish ancestry. He is a stand-up comedian and TV personality, who is probably best known for hosting “The Gong Show with Dave Attell” and “Insomniac with Dave Attell” on Comedy Central. He is also recognized as an actor, appearing in several films like “My Suicidal Sweetheart” (2005), “Harold” (2008), “Trainwreck” (2015), etc. His career has been active since 1988.

The next year, he was featured in the comedy TV series “Everybody Loves Raymond”. However, in 1999, he earned his first film role as Don in “Los Enchiladads”, which was followed two years after by the role of Frank in the film “Pootie Tang” (2001).
