Daniel Webb was born on 6 June 1958 in London, England, and is an actor, perhaps best known for playing Thomas Cromwell in the TV serial ‘’Henry VIII’’.

Webb made his acting debut with the role of Peter in an episode of ‘’The Dick Francis Thriller: The Racing Game’’ in 1979, and in the following year had a minor role in ‘’Twelfth Night’’, a critically acclaimed television movie. In the following period, Danny usually landed roles in television series, but in 1982 he had his first major project, starring as Marek in ‘’The Unapproachable’’, alongside Leslie Caron. In 1984, he played David in the Golden Globe- nominated film ‘’A Year Of The Quiet Sun’’, ultimately nominated for Best Feature award given by Chicago International Film Festival, and additionally won two awards at the Venice Film Festival.
