Peter Russo in the TV drama series “House of Cards” (2013-2016), among many other differing appearances. His career started in the early 2000s.

Have you ever wondered how rich Corey Stoll is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Stoll’s net worth is as high as $3 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the entertainment industry.

Stoll is the son of Judith and Stephen Stoll; his father is one of the founders of The Beacon School. A part of the Jewish people, Corey adopted all the traditions of his ancestors. Since high school, Corey was focused on acting, attending the Long Lake Camp for the Arts between 1988 and 1992 where he studied drama, and then matriculated from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. After that, he enrolled at the Oberlin College, from which he graduated in 1998, and also received a degree from the New York University’s Graduate Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts in 2003.

His career started in 2001 with a role in the short animated film “Okénka”. Following the end of his education, Corey had a minor role in the series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in 2004, then in “Charmed” and “NYPD”, all in 2004. In 2005 he made his film debut in the Academy Award- nominated drama “North County”, starring Charlize Theron, Jeremy Renner, and Frances McDormand. From the late 2000s, his career began to make a move forward, as his roles became more serious. In 2009 he portrayed Agent Mack in the sci-fi thriller “Push”, with Camilla Belle, Dakota Fanning, and Chris Evans, and from 2010 through 2011 he portrayed Tomas Jaruszalski in the TV series “Law & Order: LA”. In 2011 he was in the role of Ernest Hemingway in the Academy Award- winning fantasy romance film “Midnight in Paris”, with Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates in the lead roles. Pete Russo in the highly popular TV drama series “House of Cards”, appearing in 12 episodes through 2016, which further increased his wealth.

Furthermore, in 2014 he was cast in the role of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather in the TV horror drama series “The Strain” (2014-2017), further increasing his wealth.

Most recently, Corey portrayed Brian Woolf in the drama thriller “Gold” (2016), then nabbed the role of Dill Harcourt in the TV series “Girls” (2016-2017), and will feature the drama “The Seagull”, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Corey Daniel Stoll Quotes

  • [on being a fan of Woody Allen’s films] Oh yeah, absolutely. Since I was 12 or something. I was sort of born into it. Growing up as an Upper West Side Jew, it was sort of my birthright, and my birth responsibility.
  • [on TV] Breaking Bad (2008) is the best thing out there. They’ve gotten a lot of kudos, and I think they deserve them.
  • [on auditioning for Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris (2011)] He said ‘I’d like you to read something’. And of course there was this crazy kerfuffle with his assistants, trying to find something for me to read. And then he finally gave me this two-page monologue and it said ‘Hemingway’
