How much is the wealth of the former basketball player? As has been estimated by authoritative sources, the net worth of Chris Herren is as much as $100,000, as of the data presented in the middle of 2017.
Concerning his college career, Herren played in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Games in 1994. Afterwards, he played one season with the Eagles of Boston College, to be later transferred to the Bulldogs of California State University in Fresno, averaging 15.1 points, 5.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game. In 1998, he was inducted into the best quintet of Western Athletic conference, and the following year was the best passer of the conference, averaging 7.2 assists per game.
Talking about his professional career, he was selected 33rd in the second round of the NBA Draft 1999 by the Denver Nuggets, where he played as a substitute for Nick Van Exel, averaging 3.1 points and 2.5 assists per game. Before the start of the next season he was transferred along with Bryant Stith to the Boston Celtics, in exchange for Robert Pack and Calbert Cheaney. Yet the season in Boston was cut short by injuries; Chris Herren played 25 games, averaging 3.3 points and 2.2 assists.
After he wasn’t offered a contract renewal, he decided to continue his career at Galatasaray Café Crown of the Turkish league. Herren was hired to oversee the play-offs, and successfully participated averaging 24 points and 3 rebounds per game. The following year gave a twist to his career as the player was signed by the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese league, and later played with the Jiangsu Dragons.
