Cesc Fabregas Wiki Biography

Born Francesc Fabregas Soler on the 4th May 1987 in Arenys de Mar, Barcelona Spain, Cesc is a professional soccer player who currently plays for the English side Chelsea F.C. as a central midfielder. Previously, he played for Arsenal and Barcelona.

Have you ever wondered how rich Cesc Fabregas is, as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Fabregas’ net worth is as high as $15 million, an amount earned through his successful soccer career, during which he has won a number of awards, both individual and with clubs and country. His career has been active since 2003.

The son of Francesc Fabregas Sr., and Nuria Soler, his parents divorced which had a negative effect on Cesc. He became drawn to football at a rather early age and a big Barca fan, having watched his first game with his grandfather when he was only nine months old. He first played football for a local team, CE Mataro, and after making a name for himself by scoring and assisting, his coach tried successfully to hide him from Barcelona scouts, so Cesc signed with La Masia youth academy when only ten years old.

He remained in Barcelona for the next six years, but according to professionals, Cesc wasn’t good enough for the first team even despite scoring 30 goals for the youth team in a season, and a number of assists. As a result, he was sold to Arsenal in 2003.

In the beginning, it was rather hard for Cesc to settle in England, as he didn’t know the language, but with help of his teammate, Philippe Senderos, he slowly became a citizen of London.

Bought by Arsene Wenger, who became known for signing young talents, Cesc was predestined for high accomplishments, but Wenger didn’t want him immediately entering the first team. However, following injuries to several of Arsenal’s standard midfielders, Cesc made his debut on the 28th October 2003 in a League Cup match against Rotherham United, becoming the youngest ever player in the first team at just 16 years and 177 days. He didn’t make a league appearance until the 2004-2005 season, then played in 33 games and scored on two occasions. Over the years, Cesc became one of the Arsenal’s best players, and ultimately a leader, appointed Arsenal’s captain during the 2008-2009 season. He remained in Arsenal until the end of 2010-2011 season, after which he was sold back to Barcelona for €29 million, with a further €5 million in variables, while Cesc was obligated to pay €1 million a year from his wage for five years, becoming one of the most protracted transfer sagas.

During his stay in Arsenal, Cesc scored 48 goals and made 86 assists, making him one of the top midfielders in the world.

Cesc continued with his great plays in Barcelona, and with them won the La Liga title in 2012-2013, and the UEFA Super Cup the year he joined, plus Copa del Rey for the 2011-2012 season, among other achievements.

In 2014, Cesc returned to London, England, but this time he signed with Chelsea F.C. for which he still plays. He won the Premier League with Chelsea on two occasions, in 2014-2015, and 2016-2017 seasons, certainly boosting his net worth.

Aside from a successful career with clubs, Cesc has also had success with Spanish national team; he made his debut in 2006, and until 2016 played in 110 games, scoring 15 goals. He won the FIFA World Cup in 2010, while he also has two UEFA European Championship trophies, won in 2008 and 2012.

When it comes to his personal life, Cesc is in a relationship with Daniella Semaan with whom he has three children.
