Cassadee Blake Pope was born on 28 August 1989, in West Palm Beach, Florida USA, and is a singer/songwriter, perhaps best known for being the winner of the third season of NBC’s reality television singing competition “The Voice”.

Pope attended Wellington High School in Wellington, Florida, where she and her friend, the guitarist Mike Gentile, formed a band called Blake, after her middle name. However, the duo disbanded before even getting a label, but went on to form another pop punk band in 2008, called Hey Monday, along with Alex Lipshaw, Michael Moriarty and Elliot James.
