Carlos Alberto Vives Restrepo was born on 7 August 1961, in Santa Marta, Colombia, and is a singer, actor, and composer, but best known for his Grammy Award winning career. He’s been part of the acting industry since the 1980s, and soon found popularity in the music industry as well. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

In 2009, he returned to cover famous Vallenato songs in “Clasicos de la Provincia II” which again gained a huge amount of success. He created numerous hits in this period, including “Fruta Fresca” and “Tu Amor Eterno”.

In 2012, Vives released numerous songs including “Volvi a Nacer” which would reach the top spot on the charts. He also became part of the reality series “The Voice of Colombia” which aired in the same year.
