Born Brian Patrick Carroll on the 13th May 1969, in Los Angeles, California USA, he is a guitarist known professionally as Buckethead, who has so far released 300 solo albums, worked with numerous artists, and contributed music for films soundtracks as well.

Buckethead is the youngest child of five, born to Tom Carroll and his wife Nancy. Buckethead has also worked with numerous groups and artists, including Cobra Strike (1999-2000), then Viggo Mortensen, firstly in 1999 on Mortensen’s albums “One Man’s Meat” and “The Other Parade”, then from 2003 until 2005 and again from 2008 until 2013, He was a part of Guns N’ Roses from 2000 to 2004 on their tour The Chinese Democracy, and most recently worked with Lawson Rollins in 2011 on his album “Elevation”.

His music covers many genres from progressive rock to heavy metal and J-pop, but he has also used his talents to create music for films; some of his credits include music for “Mortal Kombat” (1995), then “The Weather Underground” (2002), and for the video game “Twisted Metal” in 2012.
