Antonio Sabàto, Jr. Wiki Biography
Antonio Sabato Jr. is an American model and actor, born on February 29th 1972 in Rome, Italy. Sabato was raised in the United States and became famous as a Calvin Klein model but also for his role in the “General Hospital” soap opera during the early nineties. He afterwards continued his modeling and acting career throughout the years, appearing mostly in various reality TV shows such as “My Antonio” (2009).
Have you ever wondered how rich Antonio Sabato is? According to sources, it has been estimated that Antonio Sabato’s net worth is $3.5 Million. Antonio earned most of his wealth during the nineties, when he started appearing in numerous Calvin Klein advertisements. Undoubtedly, his net worth only expanded by his appearance in Janet Jackson’s “Love Will Never Do” music video. Later roles in “General Hospital” and other more or less famous series, continued to increase his net worth.
Born in Rome to a Czech mother who was a real estate broker, and an Italian father who was an actor, Antonio moved with his family to the United States in 1985. He originally attended St. Bernard High School in Los Angeles, California but later transferred to Beverley Hills High School. Sabato started working as a model as soon as he graduated, but his first big career success was being chosen as the face for Calvin Klein’s underwear line. This opened the way to further assignments for the young model and added to his growing net worth.
Antonio started modeling in music videos as well, eventually showing up in Janet Jackson’s video “Love Will Never Do” (1990). As his popularity grew, he turned to his skills to acting, which he soon had the chance to prove in the soap opera “General Hospital”, science fiction series “Earth 2” and the prime time soap opera “Melrose Place” during the early nineties.
He then starred in numerous TV movies and direct-to-video films. From 2005-2006, Sabato starred in the soap opera “The Bold and The Beautiful” and had an appearance in “Bones” in 2010. All added to his net worth.
Antonio is also well-known for his engagements in various reality shows and competitions. In 2005 he participated in a reality singing competition on VH1 called “But Can They Sing?”, winning 5th place. Three years later, he won the NBC competition “Celebrity Circus”. In 2009 he starred in “My Antonio”, the reality show in which women competed to become his girlfriend, also featuring Sabato’s ex-wife, Tully Jensen as one of the candidates. These appearances also added to his net worth.
Some of his latest activities include being a spokesperson for one of the fastest growing on-line dating services “Anastasia Date”, for which he was named the international celebrity spokesperson in 2013. Antonio also hosted the syndicated remodeling show “Fix It & Finish It” in September 2014.
When it comes to his personal life, Sabato has married twice. His first marriage was to Tully Jensen in 1992, but the couple divorced just a year later. He has three children from his relationship with actress Virginia Madsen and a daughter with his longtime girlfriend Kristin Rossetti. Finally, in May 2011 Antonio announced that he and Cheryl Moana Marie had a son together – the couple married in 2012.
